Due to continued investment and growth, they are establishing a new engineering function in Birmingham and are looking for a motivated Design Engineer to lead the way.

You’ll act as the key technical link between engineering and commercial teams, producing temporary works designs, attending customer meetings, carrying out design checks and supporting major groundworks projects across the Midlands.

With structured training, genuine progression and opportunities to work internationally in the future, this is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to accelerate the career.

The Role

  • Produce and check temporary works and groundworks designs.
  • Attend customer meetings and provide engineering advice.
  • Build relationships with contractors and key clients.
  • Support the commercial team with technical expertise.
  • Office-based role with occasional Midland's site visits.

  • BSc/Beng/HNC/HND in Civil, Structural Engineering or similar.
  • Experience designing temporary works.
  • Knowledge on Auto CAD or Revit.
  • Understanding of Legislations.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
