Are you a Commercial Manager or QS with experience of working on Heavy Civils Projects such as Rail (bridges, viaducts) or Highways? On offer is a Commercial Manager role available for a nationally recognised organisation where you will be involved in administrating a multi-billion-pound NEC contract and given the chance to work on the UK's largest ever infrastructure project. This organisation is at the heart of the British transport network and is considered a huge part of the UK's expansion plans.

As the company continues to grow, they are looking to bring on a Commercial Manager to support the management of budgets, contracts & commercial agreements. The role involves taking responsibility for cost control, negotiation and dispute management for a large asset within the project ensuring value for money and disputes are resolved correctly. Candidates will need experience of change management, contract administration of an NEC project, and will have worked on multi-million-pound heavy civils projects before. There is a real chance to progress technically and also step up into more senior roles to really advance your career, with a clear progression plan in place.

The ideal candidate will have a few years QS experience and a background of delivering large programmes of work in the civils industry.

The Role:

  • Management of contracts and commercial agreements, dispute resolution, negotiation
  • Cost Control
  • Hybrid role (3 days from either site or office and 2 days WFH)

The Person:

  • QS or Commercial Manager
  • Worked on large infrastructure projects (Rail, Highways etc.)
  • Experience of Change management, NEC contract administration, Negotiation and dispute resolution
  • Looking to work on a technically challenging and prestigious project
