Are you a Business Development or Technical Sales professional with experience selling into the M&E sector, looking for an autonomous national role where you can build a new market from the ground up? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established international group where you will have significant autonomy and the opportunity to develop a new commercial specialism from the ground up, with scope to build your own team as the division grows.

This company is an established international manufacturer of specialist engineered products for the construction and building services industries. The UK business is entering an exciting period of investment and growth, with significant backing to expand into new markets.

In this role you will develop business across the UK, building relationships with M&E contractors, wholesalers and distributors. You will identify new opportunities for cable management, containment and associated building services products, building a national sales pipeline and establishing long term commercial relationships. You will be home based with national travel and extensive product training.

This role would suit an experienced Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Manager or similar with experience selling technical products into the M&E, construction or building services sectors.

The Role:

  • Develop a brand new national M&E sales channel, building relationships with contractors, wholesalers and distributors
  • Identify new opportunities and build a strong national sales pipeline
  • Home based role with UK wide travel and extensive product and international training
  • Excellent long term progression with the opportunity to build and lead your own team

The Person:

  • Technical Sales / Business Development background
  • Experience selling to M&E contractors and/or electrical wholesalers
  • Strong existing industry relationships
  • Proven new business development experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
