A great opportunity for a mechanically biased Service Engineer to join a long-term water industry project, supporting pump installations, refurbishment, and maintenance works across Southern UK. This role focuses on mechanical installation work across wastewater, dirty water, sewage treatment and industrial sites, working closely with an experienced engineer as part of a wider service delivery team. Product training provided, shadowing the lead engineer while in the training period.
The Role:
- Mechanical installation, refurbishment and maintenance of pumps and pumping systems
- Site-based work across industrial, wastewater and sewage treatment works (STWs)
- Covering Southern Water and Thames Water sites across the South
- Shadowing and supporting a senior engineer with structured training provided
The Person:
- Qualified Mechanical Engineering background (Level 3 / HNC Mechanical equivalent)
- Ideally, experience with pumps, rotating equipment or mechanical installation
- CSCS card essential; highly beneficial: Confined Space / Working at Height or happy to undergo training
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region
