Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day workshop operations and supervise a small team
  • Perform and oversee service, maintenance, repair, diagnostics and refurbishment of specialist machinery
  • Ensure health and safety compliance and maintain workshop records
  • Conduct QC/PDI inspections and uphold quality standards
  • Lead and motivate a hands-on team to deliver high performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to support customer service and aftersales objectives

Key requirements

  • Mechanical service & maintenance background
  • Leadership/managerial experience in a similar role
  • Experience with transfer of industries (REME, Plant, Construction, agricultural, mobile, service, heavy lifting machinery)
  • Willingness to work in a hands-on workshop environment
  • Long-term commitment to a workshop-based role
