This is an excellent opportunity for a Survey Manager / Survey Director to lead the setup of a new Land and Measured Building Survey division in Scotland. You will have the chance to build and grow a business unit from the ground up, combining hands-on
surveying with strategic leadership and business development.

This Chartered RICS surveying practice specialises in land and measured building surveys, offering geospatial services including topographical, utilities, and measured building work. With a strong reputation for quality, they work with public sector clients such as local councils and private firms like major contractors, and are focused on securing larger tenders with Tier 1 clients as part of their growth plans.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and grow a new surveying division, combining hands-on work with business development and team leadership. You\’ll have real ownership, flexible working, and a strong package including bonus and car allowance, with clear career progression.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years\’ experience in land and measured building surveys, strong project and tendering skills, and a proven ability to lead and develop teams. A proactive attitude, good communication, and experience in the Scottish market are essential. RICS membership is preferred but not required.
The Role:

The Person:

  • 5-10 years\’ experience in Land and Measured Building Surveying with strong technical skills

  • Experience tendering for public sector work in Scotland (desirable) and RICS membership (preferred)
  • Flexible to work between site, office, and home as needed
