Assistant Technical Services Manager-Food Manufacturing
Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire-Commutable from Grimsby, Hull, Doncaster
£33-35K plus benefits
8-5 Mon-Fri, Time off in lieu if working additional hours (EG audits)
Are you a food industry professional with experience in food safety and quality, looking more an exciting, varied and challenging role with a multi site food manufacturing group?
The role offers the chance to progress to Technical Manager and you will deputise when that individual is on leave.
This is also an exciting time to join to the site adds a new production line and signs a new contract with a major retail client. Excellent time to join as the site is growing.
The role will play a key role in the sites technical and food safety agenda including NPD/EPD, assisting with audits, writing procedures etc.
The Role
- Full time permanent food manufacturing role based on site in Scunthorpe
- Working as part of a small team focusing on quality, hygiene, and technical
- Responsible for the food quality and food safety on site including customer audits and NPD/EPD.
- Working background in the food manufacturing sector, ideally fresh produce and liaising with retail clients
- Previous experience of a technical and/or quality role
- Level 3 HACCP and level 4 food safety
- Internal Audit experience
