Job Description

Field Service Engineer
Bristol (ideally located between – Bristol, Swindon, Glpucestershire)
£35,-45,000 + Overtime (Paid 1.5x) + Door to Door Travel + Industry Training + 28 Days Holiday + Pension + Van + Laptop + Mobile Phone
Excellent opportunity for an Engineer to work for a well-established company, offering you a flexible and varied role with lots of overtime potential.
On offer is the chance to challenge yourself technically in a varied hands-on position, working for a successful manufacturer who will equip you with full industry/product training.
Based in Ireland, this company specialise in the in house design and manufacture of roadside maintenance vehicles. With over 200 employees across Ireland and the UK they have taken their business into new markets and worked closely with local councils to deliver a reliable and comprehensive service. Following ongoing success of the business, they are looking to take on an additional Service Engineer to join their UK team.
In this role you will be out in the field, working closely with clients and operators on company machinery, covering a variety of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical maintenance. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and occasionally attending breakdown call outs.
This is the ideal position for a Service Engineer looking for a varied, hands-on role where no two days will be the same.
THE ROLE:
*Service and repair of roadside maintenance equipment
*Travelling to sites across the England
*Working closely with customers and operators
*Door-to-door travel covered, overtime available
THE PERSON:
*Experience of Hydraulics/Mechanical Engineering
*Basic electrical experience
*Agricultural, Heavy Plant, HGV, Construction Equipment background preferred
*Based in the South West region
