They have been growing year on year since becoming established almost 40 years ago and are proud to offer and maintain a high level of service to new and existing clients. They’re now expanding their teams and seeking a motivated individual who prides themselves on offering a brilliant service, to assist them with their growth plans. In this role, you will be reviewing project plans, analysing drawings, specifications and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates. Following this you will submit detailed estimates and bid for projects to enable new business. You will be responsible for staying updated with the latest techniques, materials and costs in the industry to ensure the most accurate estimates. This is the ideal position for a proven Estimator who has experience and a good understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles, looking to join a well-established company and assist with the growth of the business. The Role: Reviewing project plans, analysing plan drawings, specifications and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates. Identifying potential financial and operational risks and providing strategies to mitigate them. A mix of office and site based (mainly local work). Training and progression opportunities with a growing company. The Person: Proven experience as an Estimator or similar position. A good understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles. Holds a relevant higher level qualification in Mechanical Engineer, Construction Management, Estimating, Quantity Surveying or related field. Holds UK driving licence and comfortable travelling to site when needed.
