In this role you develop embedded systems and firmware for a new range of products and features. You’ll predominantly work with C and Linux but there will be several open source projects that you’ll also collaborate on. The role is varied and cover backloading, defect management and fix, and working with bootloaders, device drivers, and various development projects. The ideal candidate will have good C programming skills, a strong command of Linux, and good experience with firmware (bootloaders, device drivers etc.). Candidates must be confident with debugging, embedded systems development, and firmware development. Candidates must be commutable to Bristol or willing to relocate to a commutable radius of Bristol.
