Then this company is for you. My client is an expert in Solar PV installations. They cover both commercial and domestic solar installations for their customers around East Anglia, with a mission to reduce energy costs and carbon emissions. Though they are small, they have completed over 5,000 installations and are looking to expand their team in preparation for 2025. This role will see you carrying out electrical solar installations in East Anglia and the surrounding areas for my client’s customers in domestic and commercial settings. You will be tasked with running electrical wiring from the solar panels to the inverter and then connecting the inverter to the grid or battery storage system, so attention to detail is essential. Depending on the project, you could be working alone or in a team, so being flexible and independent is important for this position. The right person will hold at least the 18th Edition and an NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation. A driver’s license is essential for this role, as you will be traveling to the base at least twice a week and to clients daily. At least 3 years experience with solar installations is required, although no qualifications are needed, as the client will support you in obtaining them. Role Responsibilities: Install electrical solar PV systems in domestic and commercial settings across East Anglia. Run wiring from solar panels to inverters, connecting to the grid or battery storage. Work independently or within a team, depending on the project. Ensure all installations are completed safely and to a high standard. Provide excellent customer service while on-site.
