Are you a recent Material Science or Engineering Graduate looking to kick start your career by joining a well-established design and manufacturing company where you will receive on the job specialist training to become a qualified Technical Sales Engineer?
On offer is an excellent opportunity for an outgoing and ambitious Engineering Graduate to take on responsibility and develop their skillset through ongoing training and working closely with technical experts in the team.
In this role you will be mainly office based, managing and developing new relationships with both customers and distributors and assisting with all aspects of the sales process. Occasionally it is required for you to do site visits and represent the company at exhibitions.
This role would suit either an Engineering or Material Science Graduate looking to get into the exciting world of sales and to settle into a tightknit and well-established company.
The Role:
- Manage relationships, liaise with customers, prepare detailed quotes, manage sales orders, and follow through the sales process
- Occasional visits to UK sites and representing the company at exhibitions
- Split working pattern over a fortnight (1 week 5 days, 1 week 4 days with alternative Fridays off)
The Person:
- Good communication skills
- Engineering / Material Science degree
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
