Maintenance Technician (M&E) Invergordon Negotiable Salary + Medical + Pension + Holidays + Excellent Company Perks Do you hold Mechanical and Electrical technical expertise and have experience carrying out planned, reactive and emergency work scopes within a plant environment? Do you want to join a thriving company in the Renewable Energy business where you can gain specialist and highly valuable experience in the bioenergy sector? This company specialises in the production of biogas through the process of anaerobic digestion at a number of sites across Scotland and have been continuously expanding throughout recent years largely due to their success in partnering with major distilleries. In this role you will be working within the Maintenance Team and reporting into the Team Leader. You will be responsible for ensuring work scopes are carried out safely, to a high standard and meet dedicated time frames. You will be required to respond quickly to reactive and emergency maintenance tasks on site to maintain a safe operation and maximise plant uptime. The ideal candidate will possess an engineering qualification at HNC level or have completed a relevant Apprenticeship. You should hold previous experience working in a production or process plant setting and have been involved with mechanical and electrical maintenance. The Role: * Carrying out mechanical and electrical maintenance and apply technical expertise. * Ensure the Inspection and Testing regime is completed in line with the Maintenance Plan. * 1 in 4 call out shift pattern (enhanced earnings). * Brilliant training and development opportunities on offer and encouraged. The Person: * Hold previous mechanical and electrical maintenance experience gained in an industrial/production/process plant environment. * Knowledge and experience of following SOP\’s and RA. * Educated to at least HNC/HND level in Engineering Practice / Mechanical Engineering or qualified to Apprenticeship level. * Full UK driving licence and able to travel to site in Invergordon.
