Are you an Electrical Engineer, looking to join a specialist company who operate worldwide on a variety of exciting projects used within the construction industry? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled team, where you will receive ongoing training to technically develop and progress your career.
The company specialises in the design and manufacture of equipment used within the construction industry. Their equipment has been used for a variety of high-profile projects worldwide, and due to their continued success, they are now looking for a new addition to their team.
The day to day of this role includes working on a variety of different specialist equipment, predominantly within their workshop. There are opportunities to visit client sites, both nationally and internationally.
The ideal candidate will have an Electrical Engineering background, with experience on PLCs and control systems. Technical skills and competence with design software such as AutoCAD is essential. The candidate must be flexible with travel and stay away.
- Designing and developing electrical control systems for lifting components
- Providing technical support to customers remotely and onsite as required (very limited site visits)
- Joining a small team of engineers and working alongside the workshop team
- Will involve some hands-on work in the workshop when required to help resolve machinery faults
- Monday to Friday, office-based role
- Internal and national travel may be required
The Person:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Hands on electrical engineering experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Willing to be hands on within the workshop as required
- Any hydraulics experience would be highly advantageous
