Excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor with a Residential background to join a reputable company which prides itself on being a rewarding and friendly workplace, specializing in Insurance Surveying with great training alongside a varied workload and generous salary.

On offer is the chance to further your career in a small consultancy with a friendly team operating on an open-door policy, and the opportunity to gain support in your Chartership, RICS, or MCIOB.

This well-established company specializes in dealing with insurance claims for domestic properties with values ranging from £20k-£500k, including homes damaged by flood, fire, subsidence, and impact. They are based in Surrey and work across the South with a variety of insurers and homeowners to diagnose and resolve domestic claims. Due to increasing workload, they are looking to bring an additional Surveyor to the team.

In this role, you will be based in the Reigate office and cover sites across the Southeast, down to Devon and Cornwall, with a rough half-and-half split between the two, meaning you will require a full driving license and vehicle. You will be responsible for surveying property damages, completing reports for homeowners and insurers, assessing and writing schedules of works for repairs with drawings, and collaborating with both the insurer and homeowner. You will need to have great communication skills.

This role is suited to a Building Surveyor with experience in structural/building/insurance surveying who is looking to upskill and develop their career in a small consultancy. There is extensive travel across the South with this role, so it is only suited to a professional willing to undertake this.
