£40,000 - £45,000 + Van + Local Patch + Progression + Long-Term Stability

Are you a Carpenter looking to take the next step into a Foreman / Working Foreman position, where you will be trusted to run residential sites locally and build a long-term career with a stable, family-run contractor?
This is a permanent position with a well-established building contractor where you will be properly supported in stepping up, while working on high-end residential projects including design & build work, extensions, kitchens and bathrooms, and property maintenance.
The company have been established for generations and are known locally for the quality of their workmanship and the way they look after their team. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of local work, they are now looking to add an experienced Carpenter who can lead on site.
In this role you will oversee day-to-day site activity, manage time and standards, and remain hands-on with 1st and 2nd fix work (including doors, skirting and kitchens), with some roofing as required, across sites within around 15 miles of their office.
This role would suit a 2nd Fix Carpenter with strong all-round residential experience who wants a secure, long-term position, a local patch, and the chance to step up into a Foreman role.
The Role:
Working Foreman position overseeing high-end residential sites
Hands-on 1st and 2nd fix carpentry (doors, skirting, kitchens) and some roofing
Local sites within roughly 15 miles of Woodbridge (Woodbridge area)
Permanent, employed role working 8:00am - 4:30pm, with optional overtime at standard rate
The Person:
Experienced Carpenter with strong 2nd fix background and competent 1st fix skills
SSSTS beneficial not essential
Good client-facing skills, organised and able to manage time on site
