Are you a Fabricator, Welder Fabricator or assembler looking for a stable, long-term role with consistent hours, an early Friday finish and plenty of workload within an established local manufacturer?
This is a permanent position within a well-established business in the manufacturing sector, where you'll be part of a close-knit workshop team producing equipment for long-term contracts, with a great work-life balance and optional overtime to increase earnings.
Due to continued growth and bringing more manufacturing in-house, they are looking to add to their workshop team to help support ongoing demand.
In this role you will be carrying out hands-on fabrication and metalwork including operating a guillotine, using a CNC press brake for folding, notching and punching components, MIG welding, grinding, assembly and fitting.
This role would suit a Fabricator with workshop fabrication experience, looking for a secure, long-term position with steady hours, a good team environment and overtime available when you want it.
The Role:
- Workshop-based fabrication and metalwork (guillotine, CNC press brake, notching/punching)
- MIG welding, grinding, assembly and fitting
- Supporting stores, packing and stock movement as required
- Local collections and deliveries using a company van (as authorised)
- Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-4:30pm (early finish Friday)
The Person:
- Fabrication / sheet metal / workshop manufacturing background
- MIG welding experience (or comfortable welding as part of the role)
- Happy with a hands-on, varied workshop role
