You will work in an autonomous role, providing reactive and planned maintenance across a variety of sites.

The company is well known for their investment in staff and offers structured industry training to help develop your skills and progress your career. They are well established within the industry and work with multiple blue chip clients. This is a great opportunity to join the company as they are experiencing rapid growth.

This is a varied role, covering the Midlands region, and would suit a Field Service Engineer looking to increase earnings through overtime.

The Role:

  • Planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of generators, fault finding (i.e. control panel, AC/DC electrical systems, genset synchronization).
  • £17.25 p/h basic, 39hrs per week - 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm finish Friday.
  • Overtime 1.5x - paid from 6:00am to 8:00am, then 4:30pm to 12:00am; 2.0x paid 12:00am to 6:00am.
  • Midlands patch (up to Liverpool, Sheffield, down to Oxford & Worcester).
  • Occasional visits to depot in Birmingham required.

The Person:

  • NVQ in plant maintenance/equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience working on generators, plant hire, diesel engines and/or similar equipment.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.
  • Looking to develop your skills through industry specific training and courses.
