Are you from a B2B Sales background within Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical Equipment or a similar industrial sector, looking for an autonomous role where you can take genuine ownership of new business development whilst receiving full technical and product training? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing engineering group where you will play a key role in driving commercial growth across two specialist businesses, managing the entire sales process from identifying opportunities through to proposals, negotiation and handover.
This company is a growing group of specialist engineering and manufacturing businesses supplying technical products, equipment and engineering solutions to industrial customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to strengthen their commercial capabilities with this newly created position.
In this role you will proactively generate new B2B business whilst developing existing and dormant accounts. You will manage your own pipeline, conduct customer visits across the UK, prepare and follow up quotations and work closely with technical teams to develop the right solutions for customers. Full product and technical training will be provided.
This role would suit an experienced B2B salesperson from an engineering, manufacturing, technical equipment or similar industrial background who has a proven track record of personally generating new business and is looking for an autonomous position with genuine commercial ownership.
The Role:
- Generate new B2B business through proactive prospecting and business development
- Develop existing and dormant accounts alongside new business
- Manage the full commercial process from initial opportunity through quotations, negotiation and handover
- UK wide customer visits approximately a couple of times per month
- Full product and technical training provided
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
