Are you from a Mechanical Engineering background looking for full industry training, clear progression in a hands-on field role and the opportunity to significantly increase your earnings through overtime? Do you want to build specialist skills installing premium garage workshop equipment for prestigious sites?

This is a permanent position with a well-established garage equipment business, offering full internal training into the industry plus external manufacturer training when available, so you can become a recognised specialist and progress long-term. You'll be joining a close-knit engineering team where development is genuinely supported, working with a range of clients from independent garages to national dealership networks and sports car workshops.

In this role you'll install garage workshop equipment on customer sites (always working in a team of two), travelling primarily around the M1 corridor with occasional stays away when required. This role suits a high-ambition engineer who is motivated by structured training and technical progression into seniority and leadership, rather than a 'just a job' routine.

The Role:

  • Installation of garage workshop equipment on customer sites
  • Field-based role covering a regional patch (primarily M1 corridor), working in a team of two Mon-Fri with overtime, no call outs and door-to-door pay

  • Mechanical Engineer background (e.g. ex-forces, forklifts, automotive, garage equipment or similar)
  • Happy with regional travel and occasional stays away when jobs exceed ~2.5 hours travel
