This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established private training provider delivering specialist welding training to both apprentices and experienced industry professionals. Unlike a traditional college environment, the organisation focuses on industry specific, tailored training, meaning you will work with learners who expect a high level of technical knowledge and practical credibility.
You will deliver both theoretical and practical training across Level 2 Advanced Manufacturing Engineering programmes, alongside commercial welding courses for experienced adults and industry professionals.
The successful candidate will also take ownership of the welding area, ensuring equipment, resources and facilities are maintained to a high standard and that learners have a safe, clean and professional environment in which to train.
The ideal candidate will be a strong practical welder with a Level 3 qualification in Welding, Fabrication or a similar discipline, with experience across TIG, MIG/MAG and MMA.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong welder to step into training, with full development available for the right person, while working with both apprentices and experienced engineers in a professional commercial training environment.
The Role
* Deliver theoretical and practical welding training to apprentices and commercial learners
* Train across TIG, MIG/MAG and MMA welding processes
* Support learners in developing practical competence and industry knowledge
* Monday to Friday 36 hours per week
The Person
* Level 3 qualification in Welding Engineering, Fabrication and Welding, or a related discipline
* Industrial experience within welding and ideally fabrication
* Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication techniques, and industry standards
* Passionate about supporting and developing apprentices
