Are you a Quantity Surveyor from a construction background, looking for a mainly office-based role where you can develop your commercial skills with a long-established specialist contractor?
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business operating within specialist construction products, supporting commercial projects from tender stage through to final account. You'll work closely with internal contracts, operations and installation teams, helping to keep projects commercially controlled, compliant and on track.
The company has built a strong reputation across the UK construction sector, supplying and installing specialist fire protection and building safety solutions for commercial projects. With continued growth, product training and experienced support available, this is an excellent step for a mid-level surveyor who wants stability, progression and a more defined commercial role.
In this role, you will manage valuations, variations, cost reporting, subcontractor accounts and final account support across live construction projects. You'll be based mainly from head office, with the chance to build specialist product knowledge and progress within a growing commercial team.
This position would suit a Quantity Surveyor with solid construction experience who is confident commercially, keen to develop technically, and looking for a long-term opportunity with training and progression.
The Role
- Support construction projects from tender/order stage through to delivery and final account
- Prepare and manage valuations, applications for payment, variations and cost reports
- Liaise with contracts, operations, installation teams, suppliers and subcontractors
