What team will I be part of?

You will be part of the Environment Testing leadership team based in Newmarket, United Kingdom, reporting to the Regional Director of Environment Testing.

As a Managing Director You Will

  • Lead the Environmental Testing business in the UK.
  • Develop a high-quality strategic plan with challenging, achievable and fact-based milestones, quickly becoming hands-on if things derail.
  • Lead and facilitate the sales & marketing activities and become a trusted and reliable partner to customers.
  • Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, productivity and bottom-line results.
  • Initiate and drive change, setting up action plans with clear-cut distribution of responsibilities.
  • Hire, motivate, develop and retain excellent Business Unit Managers and department heads.

Qualifications

Are you our kind of extraordinary? You are skilled in developing and implementing a sales & business strategy in a growth-oriented business. You have solid financial acumen, hands-on process improvement experience and the ability to implement changes in a complex organisation.

Background:

You bring a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, of which at least 2 years have been in a full P&L management role, where you had operations and commercial teams under your responsibility. You have demonstrated experience of leading change and developing, coaching and motivating large teams of 50+ people.

Education:

You have a Bachelors degree or diploma in a relevant discipline.

Language:

English proficiency is a must.

Location:

You are able to be based on site in Newmarket at least 3 days a week.
