Senior Buyer – Private Label Food Leeds This fast-growing retailer is looking to hire a Senior Buyer who will be responsible for putting together the range for the food category, with a focus on ambient and impulse food categories. With ambitious plans to grow the category they are looking for an experienced and driven Buyer who can add real value to the business. Reporting to the Head of Buying, this will be an important role to the business, where you will You will play a pivotal role in shaping the product assortment, ensuring they offer exceptional value to their customers. There will be a key focus on driving profitability by renegotiating cost prices with major brands and direct suppliers. This would suit someone with a retail or wholesale Buying background who has strong experience of buying private label food products. You will have excellent supply base management and negotiation skills as well as a proven track record of success in driving cost efficiencies and adding value through the identification of commercial opportunities.
