Acquisition Manager (Retail) – Circa £56,000 Generous car allowance and realistic bonus This award-winning and expanding UK retailer is looking to recruit a Property Acquisition Manager to oversee the acquisition and re-siting of a significant number of stores, managing external stakeholders such as landlords, agents, building surveyors and solicitors. The job holder will work in their modern West Midlands office 1-2 days per week, with the rest being home / remote based, including travel across the UK and Ireland. About the role You and your team will project manage the acquisition of new properties on the high street and in shopping centres across the UK and Ireland, from identifying sites, initialising the project and managing the process through to legal completion. You will play a lead role in the compliance process including regulatory and environmental requirements related to property management. About the Person To be considered for this role, you will have a proven track record of success in the acquisition of commercial property in a multi-site retail environment. You will have a strong knowledge of the retail property market underpinned by sound financial and qualitive analysis skills. It is essential that you have a collaborative working style, be a confident communicator with ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
