THE COMPANY

A fast-moving retailer who sells a wide range of general merchandise products. Their products are sold in many international countries including the UK, EU and other territories.

THE ROLE

  • Reviewing technical files and product SKUs to confirm that all testing is up-to-date and complies with the latest regulations, ensuring returns are within acceptable limits
  • Making sure all products meet regulatory testing requirements by reviewing reports and conducting product risk assessments.
  • Approving packaging details, warning labels, and related documentation
  • Working closely with internal teams and suppliers in Europe and the Far East
  • Analysing product returns and working with suppliers to agree on corrective actions or improvements
  • Providing guidance and support to the buying and customer service teams
  • Managing and supporting a Junior Technologist

ABOUT YOU

You will have demonstrable experience of working in a Quality-focused role. You may already be working as an established Quality Manager, Technical Manager, Senior QA Technologist / Product Technologist or similar. You’ll have good organisation skills, be able to manage your own workload and able to meet tight deadlines. Due to their location, you will need access to a car.
