I am currently recruiting for an experienced Online Pricing Manager to join an established and well-regarded retailer based within their Head Office function in Wimbledon. Working as an integral part of the Commercial department reporting into the Head of Online Trading, you will ultimately be responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies, using online tools ensuring maximum competitiveness in the online offerings with the ultimate aim to make them the go-to choice.
Your additional responsibilities will include:
- Creating and managing the on-going commercial online pricing strategy
- Optimising all pricing tools, ensuring coverage across all relevant categories.
- Working closely with buying teams to identify and action opportunities to improve our market position and align pricing tactics with commercial goals
- Liaising cross-functionally with various departments ensuring pricing strategies support category-specific stock availability and commercial objectives
- Generating reports on the impact of price changes on true net profit margins
- Utilising various software tools including BI to monitor online pricing and recommend changes to relevant teams.
- Liaising with the Head of Trading to develop and maintain a reporting suite to monitor price movement across the business.
- Overseeing streamlining & improving processes and overall pricing efficiencies.
Key requirements for the role:
- Previous experience of managing pricing within a retail environment
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of pricing management strategies.
- Highly numerate, with proven ability to manipulate and analyse data to resolve commercial issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others and drive change.
- Strong IT skills with good understanding of MS Office, advanced Excel.
