The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 Β£ per year.
A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a NPD Technologist to join our clients NPD department to focus on development projects and innovation. You will provide technical support as required by the business and have the opportunity to be involved and to shape the creation and development of new exciting products.
Responsibilities will include:
- Integrating ingredient & recipe information from the development area into the systems
- Generating and overseeing the provision of documentation associated with Product Development to the relevant departments
- Ensuring all ingredients are approved according to the correct method
- Working closely with Quality Assurance and Production departments to ensure the smooth transition of liquid projects from Product Development to Production
- Liaising with ingredient suppliers
- Making up samples for Commercial / Marketing / Customers
- Supporting the NPD Manager in cost saving / optimisation projects
- Coordinating the sending of samples
What we are looking for:
- Experience of working in New Product Development
- Extensive mathematical skills (such as with excel and formulas)
- Good level of general education up to A Level or equivalent as a minimum
- Attention to detail and analytical skills are essential
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to maintain a high level of discipline with the daily adherence to product quality
- Able to work on own initiative with little or no supervision
- Demonstrable experience of working as part of a team and working cross functionally
