Overview
I am currently recruiting for a Merchandiser to join a fashion brand based in the Midlands. You will be responsible for planning, forecasting and trading for specific season product lines. Supporting the Senior Merchandiser to ensure continued growth in the department.

Responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with buying to drive strategy for future seasons collections.
- Planning & preparing WSSI proposals for each department by season for all markets.
- Building relationships with internal teams to continuously develop & optimise product lines.
- Deliver the Merchandising & Supply strategy.
- Reviewing daily & weekly trading reports to reduce stock risks.
- Responsibility for stock management to increase sales & reduce obsolete stock.
- Dealing & resolving any escalated central merchandise team queries.
- Collating figures and updating the senior Management team regularly.
- Working cross functionally with warehousing, shipping, finance & sales teams to optimise sales and margin, while ensuring high levels of professionalism are achieved.
Key requirements
- Previous experience within a Retail Merchandising environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure with proven problem-solving skills.
- Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse & collate info from various sources.
- Commercially aware and business focussed.
- Able to manage & motivate your team to achieve both individual and team goals.
- Excellent understanding of all MS Office products especially Excel
