I’m working with a rapidly expanding chilled food business that’s entering an exciting new phase of growth and innovation. They’re now hiring a Head of Grocery to lead a major new product launch and drive their next stage of commercial success. This is an end to end role, you will be the first employee within a new business unit and this role would appeal to someone who wants an end-to-end broad role with the scope to quickly scale into a cross functional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the launch of new chilled products into grocery.
- Driving revenue growth and delivering against sales and P&L targets.
- Developing new customer accounts and unlocking new commercial opportunities.
- Managing and growing relationships with major grocery retailers.
- Developing a cross functional team to focus on chilled.
The ideal candidate would be:
- Proven track record of success either in Commercial Sales or Retail Buying.
- Must have experience of the chilled category.
- Must have experience with top 4 supermarkets.
- Experience owning sales strategy, customer relationships and P&L.
- A commercially sharp, hands-on leader who enjoys building things from the ground up.
This role would ideally suit a Senior National Account Manager / Head of Grocery who is looking for a new challenge or potentially a Head of Buying / Category Director from a retailer looking to make a career change.
