We're looking for an experienced Buyer to join the Food division of a well-established, much-loved retailer, offering the opportunity to make a real impact within a fast-paced and innovative commercial environment.

As Buyer you will develop and deliver a commercially successful range strategy, ensuring the right products are sourced at the right price and launched at the right time.   • Negotiate competitive commercial terms to maximise profitability and deliver value for customers.

  • Proven buying experience within a retail environment ideally food or FMCG.
  • Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with confidence interpreting sales and performance data.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
