Junior Project Manager – Retail Sector
North London / Hybrid

I am recruiting for a Junior Project Manager to join a leading national retailer based within their north London head office working on a hybrid basis. Reporting into the Project Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to join the centralised Project Management programme team.
As the Junior Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the co-ordination & completion of specific trading / retail projects. Provide project support to ensure the PMO department continues to drive improved project delivery outcomes across the organisation’s portfolio of key initiatives and overall projects. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with managing and co-ordinating the full Project Lifecycle
- Setting and agreeing all Project parameters and critical path.
- Planning specific project budgets to ensure goals are achieved
- Continually monitoring project success criteria to track performance
- Analysing figures
- Compiling all project documentation
- Presenting Project reports, figures and key information to the Senior Management team
Key requirements for the role;
- Proven experience within a fast paced, FMCG environment preferably Trading Projects
- Experienced in Project Management ideally with Prince2 or working towards
- Good level of education, degree is preferable
- Strong commercial awareness
- Able to adapt swiftly in a fast paced, ever changing FMCG market.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise & influence effectively at all levels
- Good working knowledge of budgets and managing conflicting projects
- Excellent understanding of all MS Office products including advanced Excel
