We’re seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team and drive best-in-class standards across all operations. This is a pivotal role where you'll champion compliance, foster safe working environments, and support continuous improvement across all levels of the business.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing all aspects of health and safety strategy and policy
- Conducting site audits, risk assessments, and investigations
- Ensuring full compliance with UK HSE legislation and industry best practices
- Supporting line managers and teams with training, reporting, and behavioural safety initiatives
- Reporting to senior leadership and advising on ongoing improvements and key risks
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar multi site environment (corporate office / distribution center)
- Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to travel as needed across their sites in Yorkshire
