A leading name in the retail sector is seeking a Garment Technologist / Product Developer to join their growing own brand development team based in their Manchester head office.

You will be responsible for developing new own brand offerings across fashion including men’s, women’s, kid’s and accessories to achieve maximising sales and profit to ensure continued growth across both stores and online.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all sample stages including measuring & sending comments on own brand samples across all categories, ensuring they are completed within the required CP timeframes.
  • Working alongside senior developers throughout the product development cycle ensuring the own brand quality and fit standards are achieved.
  • Providing team support to ensure the successful completion of delivery priorities across the own brand department.
  • Managing the critical path to ensure that the overall development process is smooth and production dates are maintained.

A relevant fashion or textile degree is preferred but not essential. High commercial & customer awareness, strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse data, and good working knowledge of MS Office products specifically Excel are required.
