A clothing supplier is seeking a Garment Technologist to join their team based in their Manchester head office. You will be responsible for developing new own brand offerings across womenswear to achieve maximising sales and profit.

Some additional duties will include:

  • Responsible for all the samples stages including measuring & sending comments on own brand samples across all categories, ensuring they are completed within the required CP timeframes.
  • Ensure the brand quality and fit standards are achieved.
  • Provides team support to ensure the successful completion of delivery priorities across the department.
  • Managing the critical path to ensure that the overall development process is smooth and production dates are maintained.
  • Provides department support in all areas from supplier communication, record keeping, filing systems, movement of samples and sample storage.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant fashion or textile degree is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise / influence at all levels.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload with conflicting and tight deadlines.
  • High commercial & customer awareness.
  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse data.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office products specifically Excel.
