p Buyer - Food BWS /p p London /p p Hybrid /p p £50,000 /p p br /p p I am currently recruiting for an experienced Buyer to join a successful food retailer within their growing team. /p p br /p p You will be responsible for driving the Buying strategy to ensure the growth in both sales profitability while maintaining a strategic business focus to ensure continued development within the own brand buying department across food and beverages. /p p br /p ul li Take full end to end ownership of the commercial sourcing strategy for own brand categories /li li Building maintaining strong relationships with suppliers /li li Understand key cost drivers (and impacts) within your category and continuously identify opportunities for improvement /li li Full responsibility of negotiation of cost price increases and ensuring timelines are communicated throughout the process. /li li Maintain outstanding levels of supplier service and work seamlessly with internal departments to resolve and issues promptly. /li li Always seeking new suppliers to deliver a stronger commercial offer than current suppliers, or to supply new / alternate products and categories to the business /li li Analysing sales figures to plan successful future lines with the own brand team. /li li Working closely with the new product development teams to maintain quality levels within products. /li li Presenting reports, figures and trend information to the Senior Management team /li /ul p br /p p Key requirements for the role; /p ul li Proven previous Buying / Procurement / Sourcing experience within a fast-moving FMCG / Food environment. /li li Ability to influence and negotiate effectively. /li li Able to adapt swiftly in a fast paced, ever changing retail market. /li li Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels /li li Excellent understanding of all MS Office products. /li /ul p br /p p If you think you have the right experience and looking for a new opportunity to develop your career with a leading national retailer, then get in touch and apply today /p p br /p
