I am currently recruiting for an experienced Merchandiser to join an expanding widely recognised brand based within their Birmingham Head office.

Reporting into the Head of Merchandising you will be responsible for maximising sales and profit to ensure the continued growth of the organisation by accurate forecasting & planning. Some of your additional duties will include:

  • Preparing Weekly and Monthly reports for Trading Meetings
  • Reviewing Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Sales performance and carrying
  • Managing WSSI by accurately forecasting demand, OTB, returns, AVSP and margin.
  • Taking full ownership of your sector and acting on issues when they arise.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc commercial & merchandising projects
  • Working autonomously & cross functionally across the business, other teams, and at all levels.
  • Monitoring market & competitor activity

Key requirements for this role:

  • Previous experience in retail Merchandising is essential.
  • Good level of education is required.
  • Extensive experience in planning and trading
  • Highly accurate with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a varied workload with conflicting deadlines.
  • Commercially focused with excellent analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse data.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise / influence effectively at all levels.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office products specifically Excel
