You are a builder. You are fascinated with construction budgets, schedules and processes. Our Construction Coordinator will play a key role in keeping our multi-million projects on track. You will support the Construction Manager and Site Superintendent on all operations related to wood frame projects, alternating between at site work and at head office. You are a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills. You possess strong analytical and technological skills and work with the highest standard of ethics.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Creating tender packages, drafting trade contract agreements, documenting all management and control processes, and ensuring data integrity in Procore.
- Manage and compile bids and creating analytical reports comparing bids.
- Draft trade contract agreements based on available templates.
- Prepare and track all contract agreements and change orders/directives for each assigned project until fully executed.
- Handle project administration, including cost control, schedule control and change order administration.
- Provide estimating assistance to the Construction Manager.
- Document all management and control document processes (RFI’s, SI’s, shop drawings, commitments, change orders).
- Manage and respond to all RFI’s during the tender period.
- Attend all trade and consultant meetings taking detailed meeting minutes.
- Communicate with design team and trades regarding site issues and gathering necessary information required for decision making.
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to Construction Manager.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

- Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors and external consultants.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering, Architectural technology or related field.
- 2-3 years of direct project coordination experience, with construction management experience preferred.
- CAPM or PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Previous supervisory experience.
