Join to apply for the Creative Strategist role at Rise & Fall. Rise & Fall is one of the UK’s fastest growing startups, reshaping how people buy better. We offer exceptional clothing and homewares, made by the world’s best manufacturers, at prices that are 40–80% lower than traditional luxury. We are the antithesis of fast fashion, committed to sustainability, quality, and conscious consumption. We’re a certified B Corp, use organic and natural materials wherever possible, and are proud to have donated over £30,000 last year to homelessness and women’s support charities. We’ve shipped over 250,000 products, doubled revenue last year, and are set to double again this year. We have been on a rocketship trajectory and are hugely ambitious, with recent launches in the US and Australia. We’re on a mission to become one of the largest luxury goods retailers in the world in the next 10 years and significantly reshape the industry as we grow.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a London-based Creative Strategist who is deeply immersed in social media culture. Someone who instinctively understands platforms, trends, creators and formats and who understands that social has the power to shape conversation, build trust, shift perception and drive business outcomes. In this role, you’ll support our Head of Content to build a world‑class paid creative function. You’ll be part of the engine that turns insights into ideas, help turn moments big and small into creative opportunities, shape briefs, analyse what’s resonating, to produce thoughtful, high‑performing ads. This is a hands‑on, fast‑moving role for someone who can think in culture, translate insight into direction, and contribute to a creative flywheel that fuels paid, organic, influencer and brand storytelling.
You’ll contribute to the full creative lifecycle: from researching trends and identifying cultural signals, to shaping briefs, crafting hooks and messaging frameworks, supporting creators, and analysing performance to inform what we make next. You’ll help ensure our paid content resonates deeply, captures attention, and drives meaningful growth for a brand on a mission to make sustainable, high‑quality home and lifestyle products available to all. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role for someone who thrives in the attention economy: curious, plugged‑in, strategic, and able to move seamlessly between idea generation, cultural research, and creative execution. You’ll play a vital part in connecting analytics, insight and creative craft — helping us deliver work that feels real, relevant and materially better.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct continuous research using tools like Motion to identify new hooks, formats, creators and storytelling angles.
- Keep a close eye on competitor activity and wider category behaviour to ensure our creative remains fresh, relevant and effective.
- Support brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of messaging frameworks and content angles.
- Review content performance daily to identify what’s resonating in order to bring clear recommendations back to the team for how to optimise future creative.
- Write clear, hypothesis‑led briefs grounded in customer behaviour and performance insights, paying attention to scripts, hooks and content structures to ensure clarity, relevance and platform‑native performance.
- Coordinate the creative process with video editors and graphic designers, from brief through to final delivery, managing timelines, communications and project organisation.
- Work with creators, editors and the wider creative team to ensure content is delivered on time, on brand and on budget.
- Support fortnightly sprint cycles, ensuring all assets, insights and updates are captured and shared clearly.
- Collaborate with creators, videographers, editors and designers to ensure work aligns with briefs and brand tone.
- Support the identification and outreach of new on‑brand creators.
- Maintain asset tagging and file handing to ensure the team can work efficiently as we scale.
- Champion the small operational habits (tidy folders, clear naming conventions) that keep our creative engine running smoothly.
About You
- You have 2‑4 years’ experience in social strategy, creative strategy, paid social or another role where culture and performance collide.
- You’re deeply immersed in social media and instinctively know what’s happening, why it matters and how brands can participate meaningfully.
- You’re an organised, steady project manager, able to coordinate multiple freelancers, timelines and deliverables without letting anything slip.
- You can keep files, assets and workflows running smoothly and care about doing quality work that makes a real impact.
- You’re comfortable working with data (Meta, Motion). You can interpret numbers and turn them into insights that spark ideas.
- You enjoy working in a fast‑moving, testing‑led environment where ideas evolve quickly and feedback cycles are short.
- You have a clear communication style. You’re able to articulate thinking, present strategy and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- You’re curious about why something works or doesn’t and naturally ask the right questions.
- You bring a start‑up mentality: You’re proactive, solutions‑focused and comfortable shifting between strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.
- You genuinely enjoy creating content yourself and are happy to jump in, whether that’s shooting lightweight concepts or recording a quick voiceover when it helps bring an idea to life.
The Package
- Competitive salary based on experience (£35‑60k).
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays (33 in total).
- Generous product discount and free product each season.
- Bright and inspiring office near Portobello Road.
- Learning and development budget.
- Pension plan: 3% from the employer & 5% from the employee.
- Lots of fun! Great culture with regular team socials & events.
- A chance to shape one of the UK’s most exciting and fastest‑growing modern luxury brands.
