We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Sales Development Engineer who has a proven track record as a business developer and a strong salesman in the Electrical Control and Automation industry.
Responsibilities:
- Selling a range of high‑quality Industrial Automation products—including PLC, control gear, switchgear & circuit protection, variable speed drives, sensors, HMI and process instrumentation—to OEM, end‑user, system integrator and panel builder markets throughout the South of Manchester and North Derbyshire area (Glossop, Buxton, Stockport, Macclesfield, Altrincham, Cheshire).
- Achieving defined sales targets and developing a personal plan to meet objectives.
- Maintaining and developing an existing portfolio of accounts while continually seeking new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Technical credibility combined with commercial drive.
- Sales and technical experience in the Industrial Automation industry with a record of sales success.
- Formal qualification in an Electrical/Electronic discipline to ONC/HND or above is desirable but not essential.
- Strong organisational, communication and teamwork skills; ability to work autonomously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
Location: South of Manchester and North Derbyshire (Glossop, Buxton, Stockport, Macclesfield, Altrincham, Cheshire).
