Our Client has a requirement for an Area Sales Engineer to manage a territory including the West Midlands and Mid Wales, Coventry, Birmingham, Telford, Stoke on Trent, Dudley, Worcester, Hereford, Gloucester, Oxford, and Shropshire. Residing central to the territory would be ideal.

The Company is seeking a Field-based Sales Engineer to continue the growth of business from existing and new customers. You will be building upon existing accounts alongside all new business development, selling the Company's full portfolio of Automation products to the Control and Automation sector via technical distributor channel partners, wholesale resellers, and also Panel Builders, Systems Integrators, OEMs & End Users across all industries, with key sectors of Building, Infrastructure, Machinery, Energy, Process, Packaging, and Transportation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing accounts and develop new business opportunities.
  • Sell the Company's full portfolio of Automation products to various sectors.
  • Work with and motivate distributors and resellers.

Qualifications:

  • Solid technical platform (ONC, HNC, or Degree level in Electronic/Electrical Engineering) or relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in the industrial automation and control marketplace.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience as an Area Sales Engineer, Field Sales, Area Sales Manager, or Business Development Manager.

This role will suit a driven, self-motivated, and well-organized individual, with the capability to present and form relationships at all levels.
