On behalf of our Client, we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Engineer/Area Sales Manager with a proven track record in business development and sales in the Electrical Control and Automation industry to join this first-class business.
Responsibilities:
- Sell a range of high-quality Industrial Automation products, including PLC, Control Gear, Switchgear & Circuit Protection, Variable Speed Drives, Sensors, HMI, and Process Instrumentation.
- Target OEM, End User, System Integrator, and Panel Builder markets throughout the North of the Tyne area.
- Achieve defined sales targets and develop a personal plan to meet objectives.
- Manage and further develop an existing portfolio of accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Sales and technical experience in the Industrial Automation industry.
- Proven record of sales success and achievement.
- A formal qualification in an Electrical/Electronic discipline to ONC/HND or above is desirable but not essential.
- Good organization and communication skills.
- Capability with Microsoft packages.
