Office based Account Manager with a competitive salary depending on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.
You are an experienced internally based Sales Executive seeking to make your next move into a small but friendly and busy team environment, offering a variety of involvement between sales, customer relationship, and customer product application support activities. We have an outstanding opportunity on offer.
To expand their existing team, our client requires an internally based Sales and Account Manager to provide both reactive and proactive sales support for a portfolio of existing customers while seeking out new business opportunities in both traditional and non-traditional markets. You will work as part of a team and contribute to initiatives and activities to grow the business for your portfolio as well as the wider customer base, including marketing and promotional activities such as email campaigns, mail outs, imaging, and follow-up.
Training will be provided; however, this role is not suitable for a first job applicant. Experience in a commercial sales environment is essential, along with good administrative skills. An electrical background or qualification is required as this is a technical electrical product and solution offering.
This role calls for a person who enjoys dealing with people, creating relationships, and making a favourable impression, so a pleasant and outgoing personality is most likely. Understanding of a Sales Order Processing system/CRM system and Microsoft packages will be required. Experience in a component sales business, manufacturer, distributor, or wholesaler environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
You are likely to live in the South of Essex within commuting distance of Woodham Ferrers, Rayleigh, Wickford, Southend on Sea, or Chelmsford.
To register your interest, contact us with an up-to-date CV, and we will be pleased to call you for a confidential discussion.
We work across a range of business-to-business/B2B market sectors including Renewable Energy, Electrical, Control & Automation, Electronic, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Fluid Power, Instrumentation, Engineering services companies, Industrial Consumables, Industrial Components, Capital Equipment, Material Handling, Scientific Equipment, Petrochemical, and Utilities.
