The Role
Working with Start-ups, Scale-ups and SMEs, you will be a confident client facing accountant ensuring the following duties are carried out in a proactive and timely manner:
- Liaising and managing a portfolio of clients
- Training and managing a team of between 3-4 Junior to Semi-Senior Accountants
- Reviewing Year End Accounts, VAT returns, Payroll Submissions
- Looking at how you can add further client value through Advisory services
- Preparing financial forecasts for clients
- Promoting the firm’s wider Advisory services such as EIS & SEIS, EMI Schemes
Skills and attributes required for the role include:
- Qualified ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines (essential)
- Previous experience working within a practice or professional services organisation (essential)
- Experience working with cloud-based Accounting software including Xero & Quickbooks (preferred)
This role will suit a newly qualified or an individual who is qualified by experience. The role requires individuals who are self-starters and can make the role into their own. This truly is an opportunity to take your career to the next level and reap the rewards of your hard work.
