Duties of a Multiskilled Field Service Engineer: * Assess client equipment on-site to determine condition and functionality, diagnosing issues and performing repairs to optimise performance. * Independently handle field-based work across various client locations and environments. * Conduct both reactive and proactive maintenance to minimise downtime and boost reliability. * Recommend improvements to client procedures for enhanced efficiency. * Promote company products and identify opportunities to meet client needs. * Apply technical expertise to deliver high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction. * Maintain professionalism, document work accurately, and report findings to clients and the service team. Skills and experience required of a Multiskilled Field Service Engineer: * 5+ years in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and plant applications. * Expertise in conveyor belt and sortation systems (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic components), fault-finding, troubleshooting, PLC programming, and interpreting engineering drawings. * Engineering degree or technical certification (electrical/mechanical), ECS and IPAF cards, and a valid driver’s license. * Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations; experience in safe, clean work environments. * Methodical, organised, self-motivated, effective under pressure, with professional communication skills. This role provides a company vehicle, an expenses card, and mobile electronic devices. When not working in the field, you will be expected to be on-site in Nottinghamshire
