Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Solicitor to join our growing dispute resolution team. The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload, representing clients in a range of disputes from pre-action stages through to trial and enforcement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, legal arguments, and correspondence
- Represent clients at court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
- Provide clear, strategic legal advice to clients
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to business development initiatives
- Keep abreast of legal developments and changes in litigation practice and procedure
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales (or relevant jurisdiction)
- 5+ years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience)
- Strong technical knowledge of litigation procedures and CPR
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
- Commercial awareness and client-focused approach
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
- Experience in commercial litigation, property disputes
