Job Summary: Due to significant growth, Risdons Solicitors are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Specialist to support our IT department in ensuring the smooth operation of daily technology-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, troubleshooting techniques and excellent communications skills to assist users with hardware, software and network issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to employees (hardware, software, network issues).
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account setup and access control.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems; diagnose and solve hardware or software faults.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets, hardware, and software licenses.
  • Support in data backups, antivirus management, and regular system updates.
  • Assist with maintaining documentation for IT procedures and user guides.
  • Collaborate with IT team on larger projects and rollouts.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role of Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office 365.
  • Familiarity with hardware components and common troubleshooting practices.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.

Working Conditions:
