Job Type: Temporary – ongoing

Standard Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Thursday)

Pay Rates:

  • Day Shift: Monday 07:00 – 17:15 | Tuesday – Thursday 07:00 – 16:45
  • Night Shift: Monday 21:00 – 07:15 | Tuesday – Thursday 21:00 – 06:45

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MMA/MIG welding, gas welding, brazing, and soldering on custom containers, silencers, and skid bases.
  • Fabricate, modify, and rework complex structures—often without the aid of detailed prints or fixtures.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and plan your work sequence effectively.
  • Maintain strict compliance with safety, quality standards, and 5S workplace organisation practices.
  • Mentor and train other team members when required, upholding core company values.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering prints and schematic assembly drawings.
  • Strong practical arithmetic skills and ability to follow detailed technical instructions.
  • Flexibility to work both day and night shift rotations, plus overtime when required.
  • Previous experience operating within a Lean manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using slinging equipment and cranes to transport heavy fabrications safely.
  • Comfortable working from heights and using measuring tapes/squares to check high-precision work.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality mindset, and excellent work organization skills.
