We're looking for an experienced payroll specialist to join Rippling's Global Payroll Operations team. Our Global Payroll Operations team plays a critical role in ensuring the success of our global payroll products, which are natively built and fully integrated with Rippling's broader suite of products.

  • Reconcile and validate payroll outputs, including payslips, tax filings, and social security contributions
  • Conduct periodic payroll audits to ensure data accuracy, identify discrepancies, and resolve any payroll-related issues
  • Carefully document processes and tasks to streamline operations and share knowledge across the department, ensuring efficient workflows
  • Work closely with Global Payroll Engineering and Product teams to ensure that:
    • Natively built payroll software supports key payroll and tax compliance requirements in the UK region
    • Product bugs and product issues (e.g., calculation errors, file generation errors) are quickly addressed
    • Internal tooling requirements and automated solutions are properly prioritized and implemented
  • Help the organization scale and grow with the business
  • Participate in ad hoc special projects to improve payroll processes

What you will need

  • Proven experience in handling audits, queries, calls and disputes with HMRC on behalf of clients
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a client-facing role
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; confident in leading client calls to effectively communicate solutions to complex issues
  • Ability to manage and solve a queue of customer support tickets
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills: high attention to detail with excellent work product, time management, and execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex payroll calculations and reconciliations
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively address client inquiries and concerns related to payroll
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with changes in UK payroll regulations and best practices
