We’re hiring a Lead Product Designer to lead end-to-end UX for a remote-first HRTech B2B SaaS product. This is a player/coach role: you’ll drive hands-on design for key initiatives while mentoring a small team and raising the bar on craft, research, and delivery.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with Product Managers and Engineers in an Agile environment to ship high-quality experiences
  • Lead design thinking workshops, journey mapping, and problem framing
  • Conduct customer interviews and usability testing (moderated/unmoderated) to validate solutions
  • Create wireframes, flows, and prototypes (low-to-high fidelity) in Figma
  • Improve in-product guidance and clarity through UX writing (microcopy, onboarding, errors, empty states)
  • Use Pendo and product signals to identify friction, test hypotheses, and measure impact
  • Define and track outcomes via KPI construction (activation, adoption, time-to-value, task success, retention)
  • Apply AI prototyping to accelerate ideation and explore intelligent workflow concepts
  • Mentor a small team and run effective critiques; ensure strong design QA with engineering
  • Manage external support when needed

What we’re looking for

  • 6+ years in product/UX design, with strong B2B SaaS experience (HRTech a plus)
  • Proven ability to design complex workflows (admin, permissions, data-heavy UX, integrations)
  • Experience designing AI-powered features or assistant-like experiences
  • Strong research and synthesis skills (interviews + usability testing)
  • Expert Figma proficiency (components, libraries, auto-layout, prototyping)
  • Experience with design systems and an eye for consistency and scalability
  • Working knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG fundamentals)
  • Experience mentoring designers and influencing cross-functional partners

Nice to have

  • HR personas/workflows (HR admin, manager, employee), compliance-heavy UX, HRIS/ATS/payroll ecosystem
